  • Support Technical Engineering Manager on all defined projects for the business as assigned
  • Support VP Asset Development in planning of defined projects according to Yara’s Capital Value Process as assigned, developing project scope and deliverables to meet the business requirements, as well as communicating regularly with providing project updates and verification of project deliverables
  • Project Management, Construction and Implementation, which includes management of projects´ timelines, ensuring appropriate regulatory permitting and notifications, managing and overseeing all contractors/sub-contractors work on site, among others
  • Work closely with Director of Facilities, Regional Operations Manager, Facility Managers on issues associated with engineering and technical soundness of new & existing facilities
  • Coordinate with Facility Manager to ensure Safe and Efficient Project execution
  • Support the unit on various supply chain issues that warrant follow-up (technical, engineering, commercial, logistics)
  • Liaise with facilities team to ensure best industry practices are applied at each site as it pertains to HESQ, product stewardship and product quality aspects


  • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering preferred or Extensive Experience in related technical field
  • 3-5 years in Chemical field or with an engineering firm
  • Experience in Quality/Efficiency programs such as 5S/Lean is an advantage
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Excellent Technical Knowledge
  • Ability to read & understand technical drawings & documents
  • Strong Contract Negotiation skills
  • Strong Health, Environment, Safety mindset

  • American citizen or lawful permanent resident
  • Extensive Travel (Assignments at multiple months at a time)
